The photo gallery is a collection of pictures from along the Herriot Way route. The gallery currently includes towns and villages, buildings and structures of interest and scenery and landmarks from the various sections of the walk.

Use the menu on the left of the screen to select the particular gallery you're interested in. You will be presented with a new page containing small thumbnails of all the photos in that gallery.

The page shows the name of the gallery, the number of photos in it and a brief description.

Click on any of the thumbnails to get a full screen view of that picture. Alternatively, click on the first picture in the gallery and view all the photos in turn.

You can click on the "View slideshow in Picasa Web" link to leave this site and view the photos natively in Picasa Web. We recommend you use this option if you have problems viewing the gallery locally.

When you click one of the thumbnails, you will see a screen similar to this one.

When you click on a thumbnail, this full screen view will appear. When you hover your mouse over the left hand side of the picture the "PREV" button will appear, similarly if you hover over the right hand side, the "NEXT" button will appear. Click anywhere on the left hand side to view the previous picture in the gallery, or anywhere on the right to view the next picture. Use the "CLOSE" button to return to the thumbnail view of the whole gallery.
