A 4-day, 52-mile circular walk around Swaledale and Wensleydale in the northern Yorkshire Dales, areas made famous by James Herriot from the popular TV series.
The guide book has 120 pages, weighs approx. 120g and is 18cm high and 11cm wide, perfect for fitting into a jacket pocket, or the side pocket of a pair of trousers.
The book contains all the information needed to plan and walk the route, including a village guide, maps and step-by-step route descriptions. Each printed guide includes a full set of annotated ordnance Survey strip maps in PDF format, so they can be reproduced in full size for easier reading on the path.

I could not rate this guide book on the Herriot Way highly enough. The directions were detailed, accurate and easy to follow. A friend and I completed the 4 days as suggested which provided a suitable distance and interest on each day.
